Install a plugin

Upload a MyBB plugin and activate it from the Admin CP.

  1. Download the plugin and unzip it.
  2. Upload the plugin's files into inc/plugins/ (some plugins include extra files for other folders — follow the readme).
  3. In the ACP, go to Configuration → Plugins.
  4. Find the plugin and click Activate.
Always read the plugin's instructions — some need a template edit or a settings change after activation.

To remove a plugin, deactivate it in the ACP first, then delete its files over SFTP.
